Hi, I’m Karen!

My social media journey began as an Advertising and Public Relations student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, where I worked with brands like Universal Orlando Resort, Give Kids The World, and the Florida High-Tech Corridor. In my early days assisting brands with their social media and PR efforts, I was awarded Best Social Media Campaign of the Year at UCF.

Since then, I’ve spent nearly a decade helping businesses—from nonprofits and small startups to major corporations—grow through purpose-driven content. During my time with UCF’s Department of Housing, I transformed their online presence and earned national recognition.

Today, I’m the founder of Social With Karen, a social media management business focused on optimizing Instagram for health and wellness brands such as med spas, dance studios, and fitness centers. I hold a Master’s in Business Administration and have helped 45+ businesses optimize their Instagram accounts for success. In 2022, I was named a UCF 30 Under 30 recipient. In 2024, I won a Reelies Award for my social media work.
